Ever been afraid of the Boogieman? To most he's nothing more than a mystical lie a parent tells a child to keep them in line; but to Somerset City the term 'Boogieman' refers to the latest serial killer that seems to have a taste for the darker souls living among them.
And could it be said that someone who makes a point of killing the reported rapist, drug dealers, and common thugs could be something good to have around? Perhaps it is a sign of better things to come or could it possibly be the opening for something much worst to show itself?

If only humans knew the truth. In their precious unaware world the random killings of local troubles has nothing to do with wanting to keep the peace and a lot to do with convenient hunts. See, no one with a mind for 'good' intentions would willingly enter the shadows at night...unless they had Other reasons.
For decades the monsters of myth have been steadily making a home for themselves among humans; keeping to their own kind and with only a handful of encounters that involved bloodshed. Of course if things get too out of hand the local monsters know that their own personal 'Boogieman' would make an appearance to put them in their place.
But such is the way of fate when it comes to living outside the 'human' world. Then again, you could be the one who steps into the shadows at night to find the 'Boogieman' waiting to make a treat out of you.
So what will you be...?
Living outside the shadows...
or playing with Raw Head and Bloody Bones...?
