Lost to the country for two hundred years, the great Hillpoint Fortress in Orais has been reclaimed and the country celebrates. This treasured landmark represents their power over their northern enemies and in order to oversee its restoration the King’s brother is sent to take command. The fortress has been empty for almost eighty years, it is little more than ruins, however now the Prince, his family, his servants and a whole military battalion must leave the capital city and settle themselves in the fortress whether they like it or not.
Over the coming months they will face the hardships of rebuilding the fortress but also in dealing with the existing nobility in the area. These Oraisian nobles are the heros of war that are responsible for the recapture of the fortress and are less than impressed with the new blood that the King has sent to effectively replace them.
Will the fortress at Orais stand proud as she once did?
Or will she fall to ruin once more?
Orais is an original medieval fantasy that focuses on the lives of the news residents in the ruined fortress. With nobles, knights, soldiers, servants, mages and so many more types of characters available there is something for everyone! Original characters are welcome, or you could take one of the many existing character outlines.
